Today, as promised yest, we watched the "sunrise" from St Fursey's Altar. Like Whistler's Mother it was an arrangement in Grey and Black:
It was all rather wonderful: a bit of drizzle, a brief sting on hail, occasional sulphurous roils across the hills to the South but mostly a gradually lifting [and unlifting] grey. Good to be alive; time to think of those who felt they'd be better off dead. Salut Paul!St Julian of Norwich, her day: "al shal be wel & al shal be wel & al manner of thyng shal be wele"
