- I was writing last October about the three people I know, including me, who have saved somebody's life. It's a select club, and I'm not even sure if I should be a member. Here is another dramatic life-saving story in the Grauniad.

- History channel: how did Shagsper sound when he wrote? like this or maybe like this.
- Channel? What about the dangers of fluid mechanics downstream of weirs and low-head dams.
- Sing song
- My Dad is the best dad. Whether or not he drives a JCB.

Got a fellow to start breathing once. He had stopped as a result of an accident. I met somebody that knew him some time after. He said it was a mistake to have bothered. Apparently he was guilty of nasty assaults.
