- This is what we should all do more often. Instead of slavishly following a recipe for, say, chocolate chip cookies, we might try tricking about with the proportions and ingredients to see what happens; what the allowable variation is. That's science - it matters.
- Back about 3 years ago, I referred to a UK bakery chain with pretensions towards world domination which forced me into making my own goddamn bread. That chain can now be named: Greggs has gotten to the top in the UK at least. Muff
